        Just to the east of this lot is a sandstone marker approximately 9' X 12' X 2' with the following inscription on the east side: J. A. L. C. I believe the letters stand for Julia Ann Rocker Cook, the name listed in lot 07-04-06 and explained in detail in lot 07-04-04.
        REPORT OF DEATH: MESSERSMITH B At Cedar Fort, February 28, 1884, Louisa, daughter of David and Julia Locklin, wife of Thomas Messersmith, of dropsey.
        Deceased was born in Cleveland, Ohio, March 4th, 1846; crossed the Plains in 1852; lived at Big Cottonwood till the fall of 1853, then came to Cedar Fort, in which place she resided ever since.
        Deceased leaves six children; she died as she had lived, in the hope of a glorious resurrection. (Deserest News, March 10, 1884)
