RESIDENCE: His father's family was in Penfield, Monroe, New York at the time of both the 1820 & 1830 census. In September
of 1835 his family was living in Carlton, Orleans, New York at the time of his fathers death. Because he was under the age
of 14 years the court appointed John Stevens as his guardian. Living with Peter Crippen on the 1855 census for Penfield,
Monroe County, New York. At the time of the 1860 census Alonzo and his wife were living in Penfield, Monroe, New York.
