        Pneumonia Takes Little Babe.
        Kenneth Lynch McKinney, the little six months old child of Mr. and Mrs. John L. McKinney, formerly of this city died at the home of its parents in Fairfield, Monday evening. The child has been ill for the past week with pneumonia, which proved to be the cause of his death.
        Funeral services were held at Fairfield Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Interment was held at the Cedar Fort cemetery.
        Another little child, 4-years-old, is very sick with the same disease, and is said to be in a very critical condition.

        McKinney Boy Dies Following Gun Wound. Joy Ross McKinney, 16, son of Mrs. Rhoda McKinney, formerly of Fairfield, now living in Salt Lake City, died Saturday night, January 2, in the L.D.S. hospital, as the result of being accidently wounded while hunting rabbits near Lehi last Thursday.
        He was in company with a younger brother, Richard McKinney and Ralph Worlton, son of Mrs. F. D. Worlton of this city. The three boys were driving in a truck, when a 12-gauge shotgun was accidently discharged, the charge plowing through the seat and striking the boy's left hip. He was taken at once to the L.D. S. hospital in Salt Lake City for treatment. At first his condition was not regarded as critical, but infection set in which caused his death Saturday.
        Jay was born in Fairfield, Jan. 11, 1915, the son of Mrs. Rhoda J. McKinney and the late John L. McKinney. Until four years ago he lived in Fairfield, attending the schools there and the Page military academy in California. He also attended the Longfellow and the Lowell grammar schools in Salt Lake and the Bryant junior high school in Salt Lake.
        For the past three years he has been a student at the Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant. He was presidaent of the junior class there and a splendid athelete, being prospective center on Coach E. G. Brunger's Orange and Black basketball team.
        He is survivied by his mother, a brother, Richard, and two sisters, Helen and Johnell McKinney. His father died in 1923.
        Funeral services for young McKinney were held Wednesday morning at 9:30 in Salt Lake City at the McKinney home with Bishop C. Clarence Neslen of the Twentieth Ward in charge of the services.
        The body afterwards was taken to Cedar Fort, where an additional service was held at 1 p.m. Burial followed in the Cedar Fort cemetery. The services at Cedar Fort were being held as we went to press. A large group of friends from this community attended the services.
