  The Herald, Provo, Utah, Sunday, October 7, 1990 Wendy Lynn Gamble Henke, died Oct. 4, 1990, of cancer. She was born June 19, 1961, at Salt Lake City to George Gean and Ella Gail Staley Gamble. She married Owen Richard Henke, Oct. 3, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nev. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She had been active in the LDS Church and served in many capacities including Primary and the Young Women' presidency. She owned and operated Delta Farmers Group Insurance office. She also loved genealogy, crafts and gardening. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Samantha Lynn and Rebecca Jo, all of Hinckley; parents, Cecil W. and Florence Cook Henke of Flora Vista, N.M.; mother, Ella Gamble of Delta; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Dean (Patty) Harris of Cedar City; Mrs. David (Vickie) Peterson of Abraham; Mrs Greg (Cindy) Kunz of Georgetown, Idaho; George D. Gamble of West Germany; Russel J. Gamble, serving in the Houston, Texas, LDS mission; Melvin Gamble and Laura Gamble, both of Delta, grandmother Hazel Staley of Riverton. She was preceeded in death by her father, a brother and a sister. Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Delta First Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call at Nickle Mortuary, 190 S. Center, Delta, tonight between 7 and 8 and at the chapel on Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in Hinckley Cemetery.
